Bow Wow Video Festival comes to San JoseCome together this Feburary to celebrate man’s best friend, and maybe bring a new one home! Come to the CineLux Almaden Cafe & Lounge and celebrate dogs at the Bow Wow Video Festival on February 28, 2016.Sponsored by Councilmember Pierluigi Oliverio, the City of San José, and the Humane Society of Silicon Valley, this is the Festival’s first scheduled appearance in the Bay Area.The Festival features eight short films about the enduring bonds between humans and canines. Attendees can enjoy opportunities to learn about local animal resources and adoptions with the festival’s community partners.A $12 donation is suggested for the event with the proceeds benefitting local dog rescue groups. Ticket stubs can be redeemed for a free dog adoption on or before March 15, 2016 paid for by the Office of Councilmember Pierluigi Oliverio.

The best dog costumes attending will be rewarded with prizes from Sam’s Downtown Feed and Gussied Up Dog Boutique, befitting their stature as a true “Alpha Dog.”
