Summer Evening Walking Game ( possible grand finale)

Monday, September 2 will be the neighborhood bounded by Meridian, Dry Creek, Leigh, Southwest Expwy & Fruitdale.

What is the Summer Evening Walking Game?

Warm summer nights make for a perfect opportunity to stroll the neighborhood and enjoy the great outdoors. In order to promote good health, getting to know your neighbors, and the art of walking in general, I started a game.

The game works like this:

A certain block by block area of District 6 will be the focus of the event as shown on the map. During this time, I will drive around the designated area looking for summer evening walkers, and provide small incentives to those participating. Participants must walk with a partner (2 legs or 4 legs), and wear GREEN shirts (a GREEN bow or other creative attire will be acceptable for dogs). Prize awards might consist a movie passes to Camera Cinemas, or gift certificates to Willow Glen Yogurt or Gussied Up Dog Boutique. Cold sodas available by request.
